Born Wet Tours was born out of the unfortunate destruction of Hurricane Ian but we like to think we are a change and an addition to the community that will be here to stand the test of time. "I will never retire! Or, maybe I am retired and I just work a lot?" Captain Brad is here for the long haul and wants to encourage you and your friends and family to come Ride The Tide we are Born Wet!
Captain Brad has spent most of his life in and around the water, enjoying taking families out on the water. He has two boys, aged 12 and 8, who share his passion. With his comforting personality, every day on the water is a good one, staying focused on your adventure.
A Note From The Captain:
Growing up, I had countless water experiences, from canoeing down the Snake River to fishing with my father. The thrill of sailing with the wind in my hair and fishing in the Gulf further fueled my love for the ocean. After college, I pursued Forestry & Environmental Science and worked on wildlife surveys in the Rocky Mountains. Florida eventually became our home, but Hurricane Irma forced us to temporarily leave. Missing the ocean, we returned and faced the challenges with resilience, ready to serve Fort Myers Beach.
While grateful for our town, I felt a calling for something more—an idea, a lifestyle. So, our family embarked on an adventure to seek it. Starting an eco tour business became my goal—to share the beauty of the Florida coast, promote conservation, and educate others about our marine treasures.
